Detection quantity, diagnostic

Read-only. There is no save path in this page and no migration is proposed — every detection ledger in the live book is correct. What it measures is the installation charge, which the two rep conventions do not treat the same.

Line quantities are per instance.
The equipment card's HOW MANY multiplies the whole module. A module can therefore read 4 × 1 or 1 × 4 and mean the same four sensors. Both are in the live book. The number that matters to a customer is the product of the two.

Which convention is correct is a commercial decision, not a code one: whether a four-sensor install is four visits of labour or one. Nothing here changes a price until that is answered.
