Prodigy-Approved Installer

How Prodigy works, and where you fit

Prodigy designs and supplies external wildfire defence systems. You install them, as an independent licensed contractor working directly for the property owner. This page covers the whole relationship in about five minutes.

Who does what

Prodigy supplies

The system components and an engineered design package built for that specific property, plus Prodigy Wildfire app access and the limited warranty — 24 months on the system, 50 years on the copper piping.

You install

As an independent, licensed contractor. You hold your own licence, insurance and workers' compensation, agree scope and price directly with the property owner, and your installation contract is between you and them.

Prodigy is not a party

to your installation contract. We do not supervise your work, obtain your permits, or direct how you run your business. You are not an employee or an agent of Prodigy.

What you'll be installing

Sprinkler heads

Roof and perimeter coverage, placed to the engineered design.

Copper piping & crimp fittings

3/4" through 2". Copper carries a 50-year warranty.

Pump

Sized to the design for the property's water source.

Controls & valves

Zone control and activation.

Utility box

Houses the control equipment.

Tank / water-supply components

Where the property needs its own supply.

How the equipment reaches the site

1

No warehouse, no waiting

Prodigy holds no inventory. Components are bought from national suppliers — Ferguson, Home Depot, Menards and similar — and drop-shipped straight to the project site.

2

Delivered to the property

Materials arrive where the work happens. Title and risk pass to the customer on delivery.

3

The design comes with it

Every system ships with its engineered design package, so layout and hydraulics are decided before you are on the roof.
