How wildfire actually behaves — and what it means for your property.
You are invited
Wednesday 12 August 2026
6:30pm – 8:30pm
The Great Hall, Pemberton Community Centre
7390 Cottonwood Street, Pemberton, BC
An informational evening on the habits of wildfire — how it moves, how homes actually ignite, and the practical steps that change the outcome for a property. Open Q&A at the end. Bring your questions about your own home.
How fire moves
Wind, terrain and ember storms — why fire skips and where it lands.
How homes ignite
The overwhelming majority start from embers, not a wall of flame.
What you can do
Property preparation, and where engineered protection fits.
Free to attend. Everyone welcome.
No booking required — just come along. Scan the code to speak with a Prodigy wildfire engineer, or reach out with a question beforehand.
